- What is the eligibility for admission into MBA programme at Tirpude Institute of Management Education?
Ans: The College takes admission of MBA programme strictly as per the norms of State CET Cell; according to which the minimum qualification requirement for MBA is
i) Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate (45% in case of students belonging to the reserved category) AND
ii) ii) Non-zero positive score in any of the following examination- MAH-CET for MBA/ MMS conducted by State CET Cell, Maharashtra; CAT conducted by IIMs; CMAT conducted by National Testing Agency NTA; XAT conducted by Xavier’s School of Management Jamshedpur; ATMA conducted by Association of Indian Management Schools AIMS; MAT conducted by All India Management Association AIMA; and GMAT conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council USA. - What is the process of admission into MBA programme?
Ans: The admission process of MBA programme consist of majorly two steps-
i) Step 1: Online application for registration and offline document verification.
ii) Step 2: Applying to colleges for admission either through CAP round or Institute Level Seats - Where can a student do registration and document verification?
Ans: The aspiring candidates can register themselves online State CET portal (https://mba2023.mahacet.org.in/cetmba23/mba23/index.php?show=home) and get the documents verified physically at any of the Scrutiny Centers recognized by State CET Cell. - Are there any fees for registration and document verification?
Ans: If the students have already appeared for MAH-CET then they need not pay any additional fees for registration and document verification. However; any student who has earlier appeared for other than MAH-CET examination, has to pay registration fees of Rs. 1000 (For general category student)/ Rs. 800 (for students belonging to reserved category) - What are the required documents for verification process?
Ans: The following documents are mandatory for each student irrespective of his/ her category and candidature type:
• Original Mark sheet of SSC or 10th Standard
• Original Mark Sheet of HSC or 12th or Equivalent qualification
• Original Mark Sheet of Graduation (last semester only)
• Birth Certificate/ Domicile Certificate (allowed for Maharashtra State Candidate only)/ Certificate of Indian Nationality (Indian Passport)/ School or College Leaving Certificate mentioning place of birth in Maharashtra (For Maharashtra State Candidates) OR Nationality as Indian (For other than Maharashtra State Candidate)
• Copy of Score Card of valid entrance examination (downloaded from the portal of entrance examination)

- How to fill option form in CAP round?
Ans: The candidate should fill option form in CAP round through their respective login ids only. They can select minimum one and maximum 200 colleges for admission depending on their choices and preference. - How is a college allotted to a student in CAP round?
Ans: The State CET Cell allots the college to the students based on their Candidature Type, CET Score/ Merit Number and Category. Students from reserved category have to take admission using CAP rounds only if they wish to avail any scholarship or free-ship benefits in fees. - Is it mandatory for a student to take admission in allotted college only?
Ans: In case a student has been allotted a college for which he/she has given the first preference, then the student has to take admission in the allotted college only and he/she will not be eligible for attempting further CAP rounds In case the student has been allotted other than first preferred college then he/she may apply for further CAP rounds for betterment in college choice. - Is there any process to confirm admission in to the allotted college?
Ans: Once the State CET Cell displays allotment of college, the student can confirm his/ her admission to allotted college by selecting “FREEZE” option using his/ her login and report to allotted college. Student should confirm admission by submitting required documents and fees. - How can a student attempt further CAP rounds for betterment in choice of colleges?
Ans: If a candiate has been allotted other than first preferred college, then the student will select “FLOAT” option and complete the process by submitting his decision. Such student will be able to fill option form in subsequent CAP rounds. - How can a candidate apply to Tirpude Institute of Management Education through CAP round?
Ans: The candidates seeking admission in Tirpude Institute of Management Education through CAP round should fill in the option form by giving preference to this college (College Code MB4107). - How can a candidate apply to Tirpude Institute of Management Education through Institute Level Seats (Management Quota)?
Ans: The candidate can apply for Institute Level Seats at Tirpude Institute of Management Education, by submitting an “Admission Application Form” to the college administration. Admissions in this category shall be based on merit.
