Report on Alumni Meet –14 Aug, 2017
Excitement, fun and anticipation marked the Alumni Day celebration (TROY meet), organized at Tirpude Institute of Management Education (TIME), on the evening of 14th August. The programme, coinciding with the eve of Indian Independence Day, was conducted at the institute premises that was decked up appropriately for the occasion and highlighted theme of the alumni meet, which was ‘Fitness – get into your college clothes’. The response for the meet was stupendous with almost 230 alumni’s who gathered to greet each other. More than 100 MBA graduates and around 130 BBA and BCCA graduates attended the meet.

Most of the alumni made hard efforts to convince that they still have the same physique they had as students of the institute. Alumni were stars of the evening and the formal and informal interactions were interspersed with specially choreographed dance and musical entertainment breaks by teams of current students.
Fitness bands were awarded to those found to be fit or have actually become fitter and dumb-bell shaped water bottles were presented to all as souvenir of the meet. A special wall was also created, with theme of the oncoming ‘Crescendowood’ intercollegiate event, as a background for getting photographed and creating more happy memories of association with the institute. The evening was reminiscent of old memories and it did reinforce a strong bond with the institute’s alumni.
